Really impressed with the Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker
5 December 2013
Excerpt: My eardrums are currently being thoroughly attended to, serviced by the Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker . It's a nifty little, portable speaker--a handsome little guy, by the way, that cooperates quite well and plays well with other devices. I'm enjoying a song from youtube at the moment and controlling the volume and video selection from my Verizon Motorola Droid Ultra . I was able to pair the two devices with bluetooth.
Conclusion: . Two hundred bucks is a lot of cash to spend on a portable speaker, but the SoundLink Mini delivers sound quality and a level of finish to match its price. It’s sturdy, small, and makes for a great listening experience, despite a few small drawbacks.
Pros: Sturdy build quality. Rechargeable battery. Extremely portable. Pairs with up to six devices at the same time.
Cons: No speakerphone support. Doesn’t charge via USB.
Excerpt: Thinking back to my college days, wow that sounds old, we always wanted to have music wherever we were. In order to hang out in front of the dorm, we had to get an extension cord to bring out a boom box. If we were to have something like the Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth speaker, life would have been so much easier. The Soundlink Mini is a great device that puts Bose’s world renowned great sound into a small package.
Excerpt: High-end speaker harbinger Bose, has recently released a much more compact and portable version of its successful $300 SoundLink wireless speaker appropriately named the SoundLink Mini . It's Bose's smallest wireless Bluetooth speaker that competes against offerings from some of the most notable brands in the ferociously competitive portable speaker category.
Summary: Bose sets its sights on the portable Bluetooth speaker market
Pros: Excellent sound quality, Beautiful design, Compact, 7 hours of battery life, Boasting excellent sound quality and a beautiful design, there wasn't much we didn't like about the SoundLink Mini. Add to that Bose pedigree, seven solid hours of music playback and anyone who picks this speaker up will no doubt be pleased with their purchase.
Cons: Relatively expensive, Proprietary charger (not-MicroUSB), Doesn't double as a speakerphone, There isn't much to dislike about the SoundLink Mini. Its major drawback is its size. Because of how small it is, don't expect the kind of bass response you would from a larger speaker. That said, it's still far superior to the Beats Pill or even the BoomBot Rex we reviewed earlier. Additionally, the brushed aluminum while great to look at is susceptible to scratches and scrape...
Pros: Fantastisk lyd, Let tilslutning, God rækkevidde, Opladeligt batteri
