Pros: Fast, unlike Norton, Doesn't just delete anything it thinks is a virus or malware, unlike Norton. Have been a loyal customer of Trendmicro for a few years now, hope they keep it up and do not disappoint me.
Summary: Haven't experienced the mapping problem another user user complained about. I can feel safe downloading torrents and leaving my computer running without supervision for hours at a time.
Pros: If you're looking for total protection from all the malicious stuff out there look no further. Trend Micro is the company the corporate users prefer for a reason. It catches more malicious code than any other Virus Detection software out there. That fact proves out in test after test. Trend Micro...
Cons: Not as much control as earlier Trend Micro Products Provided.
Summary: Bought an NAS - and was able to connect all computers that did not have Trend Micro. Those without connected effortlessly. Spent hours chatting with their technical support and got nowhere. I asked for a refund and was refused - I fixed the problem by uninstalling and upgrade to windows 8.
Pros: does on "OK" job - but my demands are not high
Cons: does not allow you to map drives - this is apparently a known issue for the 2012 version - and was supposed to be fixed in 2013......but apparently the fix does not work technical support was not able to help
Summary: picked it up on sale for 9.99 with a free flash drive and shipping-Not the best av out there but not the worst either-It does its job-not bad programif u can get a good deal on it-better then nortan, avg, mcafee etc... but bitdefender and vipre are better if u want spend a little more cash
Pros: very easy to use control panel-has everything you would want there-does not overload control panel with useless opitions used for over 6 months with no infections helps improve windows firewall has a basic tuneup tool to help increase pc performance
Cons: long startup time-after long startup it runs fine with no hangup time only seems to update on boot-u have to manually update if you don't boot your pc everyday only free basic technical support via email/phone- if you have a big issue like a virus they want you to pay big bucks for them to fix it
