No King Kong, but it tries to help clean your computer ... given the software limits.
20 January 2015
Summary: Yes, this Utility software will function with 8.1 Windows (HP Laptop), but is not as effective in cleaning the operating system as other "aggressive" software tools (maybe for the better .... could crash system otherwise).
For the price this is good software to fix basic system issues
James Jenkins, Amazon

Summary: Does not correct all of the issues. For the price this is good software to fix basic system issues. I have found that the software does not clean history thoroughly. I have had to do that manually in order to clean out all of history and temporary files.
Summary: I tested Norton Utilities on two separate systems, a laptop and a tower PC, both with solid state drives. For systems with solid state drives (aka SSD), I'd say this product is more or less useless because it can't be used to defrag the drive, it's only for system with hard disk drives (HDD).
Summary: The Norton Utilities claims to fix and free up common problems and memory by deleting certain files (duplicates and unused programs). To be honest, after running the program, I didn't notice a big change in my computer speed. Maybe a little, but I don't know.
Average Tune-Up Software that did not break too much stuff
Thomas Wikman "Texas Swede", Amazon
26 March 2013
Summary: Tune Up applications sometimes break stuff and I've had my share of bad experiences. Norton Utilities 16.0 did do some things I did not like. For example, the first initial scan removed all browser history and cookies including my stored passwords.
Summary: The short of this review is that Norton Ghost 9.0 worked to restore a failed drive, but after about 12 hours of work and ONLY because I made a network copy of the backup as a drive was failing. That's the good news, here's the bad.
Excerpt: So an opinion on Norton?s personal firewall, I bet they all start with this is simple and protects my computer etc, etc, bla,h blah, and I recommend them to any one. Well sorry to disappoint you all but I think Symmantec is one of the most underhand companies I have come across.
Excerpt: Norton Cleansweep can be a very useful program if you use it properly. it will clear out all those un desired files from your hard drive that build up over the course of time. I do however advise caution when using this program. So far as to say never turn off the safety sweep function.
