Pros: I tend to be very cautious on my computer (some may say paranoid) and yet this has still caught some things and it doesn't get in the way (though my computer is so fast that might have something to do with it).
Summary: I have used Norton Internet Security for a couple of years now, since it became so vastly improved. I purchased this for a friend on a promotion, and it was a terrific deal. I hope Norton can keep up the great work and remain competitive and a leader.
Pros: Very smooth running application vs the resource hog Norton used to be a few years ago. The features on this Software have saved me more then once from website hijacking and other malicious threats.
Cons: There seem to be a couple of other competitors that have gained higher marks in reviews over the last year, but I will stick with Norton for now.
Pros: As an IT I have worked with McAfee and Nortons anti-virus and I'll take Norton Anti-Virus over McAfee anytime. In fact, working on PCs on my own time, I make more money when someone has chosen McAfee for there anti-virus.
Summary: I have been using NIS continuously since 2003. I have used some other makes and still use it on some of the lesser used computers in house, this thing blows all of them away. Its the least resource consuming internet security software out there but Norton does not stop there, it continuously keeps...
Pros: Fast install Fast Updates Does not slow down computer Does everything the that the others do without draining your comp's resources

It's running on Vista 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit OS's without issues. I couldn't be more happy. The most recent copy I got from...
Summary: I would only use Internet Security, not just an antivirus only. I recommend going a step further and using Internet Security with a hardware firewall/router. You can buy hardware firewalls cheap.
Pros: I have never had a problem with viruses, hacks, or anything else since using Norton Internet Security. I find that the program works quite well and very seamlessly. I have no reduction in system performance, and it is very good about running in the background when the system is idle. I have also ...
Cons: Only good for one year. The program actually stops working after the year is up if you have not purchased an additional year ahead of time. And I don't mean it just stops getting updates and new virus definitions. I mean it flat out stops working all together. So do keep that in mind, especially ...
