Summary: head hurts from thinking
Pros: unable to download product key. I had to buy the software from Norton. There were no problems with the digital download. I have spent several hours trying to contact New egg so I could put Norton on the other computers.
Summary: what year is this again? why cant i overclock my powersupply???? 1 out of 8 would no scope again m8.
Pros: -This overclocked my floppy disk very well, I got it up to 1hz on the flux capacitor and I got the transducer up to .1337Ghz.But it took down my twitch stream when i was streaming my pet turtle playing pokemon....
Cons: Could not overclock my power supply. It didnt increse the bass in my headphones when i was listening to linkin park
Summary: I had updated my subscription a month early as it notified me it was about to expire. Then when it was done it said I had 365 days left on my subscription. I've done this for others recently and they experienced the same thing. This is very shady from such a reputable company.
Pros: Does a very good job and all around I recommend.
Cons: two things, 1) They don't scan for PUPs or PUMs and they clog your system 2) If you enter a new key before the subscription is fully expired, they steal your time from your subscription.
Summary: DO NOT BUY A KEY AND RENEW BEFORE YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION ENDS. YOU WILL LOSE ANY REMAINING TIME ON YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION. And don't waste time with the far away people in support. They will state that you bought and installed a new product.
Summary: I bought this because Kaspersky 2014 has turned into a real system hog. At first, everything seemed to go pretty smoothly. Then, when I was doing a backup, it quarantined a file -- and another -- and another. Something like 30 apps, flagged as "ws.reputation.1.
Pros: A comprehensive suite with a broad range of features, a bit less demanding on system resources than Kaspersky, although tests find its scanning a bit less thorough
Cons: False positives -- quarantines applications merely because Norton has never seen them
