Pros: It came free with purchase of some piece of hardware I bought
Cons: Everything. This is the absolute worst antivirus program on the market. I loads everything on the front end, so it makes your pc crawl. I constantly am working on pc's that have McAfee and have major virus issues. since it was free, at least I have a gift to give someone I really dislike. There a...
Summary: Does NOT need to come as a "free gift". Please send a "free gift" that we can actually use.
Pros: Great for novice user who have no idea of what a virus or malware is.
Cons: Complete rubbish, waste of money, and does nothing more than take up too much space. There is free software out there that works a lot better than this and takes up a fraction of the space and resources needed.
Summary: I've used this company's garbage off and on throughout the years. It's always been a hit or miss. If it weren't for the rebates making it free, I'd never buy their software. This version was a miss. Oh well, all I had to pay for was a stamp to mail out the rebate.
Pros: Can't give any "pros" for this piece of junk. See cons below.
Cons: After installing this program, it began to run a file in the background on my system non-stop about a week later. Summary: You may want to try a Free Trial version first to see if you will have problems with the Download (Search = Free Trials - McAfee).
Pros: McAfee Internet Security runs quietly and effectively in the background. I was using Norton 360 which was intrusive and controlling my laptop sometimes.
Cons: McAfee Internet Security 2015 - 3 PCs Model#: MIS15EBF3RAA Item#: N82E16832484090 Comes in a box but DOES NOT contain a CD/DVD. It is a BOXED Down Load Key. It took me 15 hours in Online Chat with McAfee Technical Support and $70 in data fees to install on three Laptops.
Summary: I have used several well-known brand products for internet security. McAfee products are good at what they are supposed to do. Buying from Ebay retailers generally saves money compared to dealing directly with the company. I don't understand this but why question it?
