"Very Bad Technical Support. Phone support misleading."
4 December 2013
Pros: Too Much Clutter. And advanced features are not intergraded.
Cons: Phone support the Tech person answering does not trouble shoot the problem and stay with you. Tech just hears you out & then says I will send you a link to solve the problem. The link is just a link from a vague section of iManual. Worthless.
"First and probalby last time Kaspersky purchaser"
5 January 2010
Pros: Honestly, I'm having a hard time coming up with any positives. It does do the job as anti-spyware, but that is about it.
Cons: Boot lock-up is still a MAJOR issue in Jan 2010. Minor boot issues almost every time. Program locks-up post boot several times a week. The anti-spam feature randomly dissapears from Outlook Settings are cumbersome/difficult to navigate.
Pros: Highly recommended by Geeks at Best Buy, seems to scan my computer fast.
Cons: It's like having to have an auto-mechanic with you each time you drive your car, in order to adjust the gap on your spark plugs, check for vacuum leaks and diagnose code. Who wants to own a car (or a software program) that is difficult to use?
Cons: Detects vulnerabilities but does not give exact solution. Parental control, anti spam, anti phishing bad. App filter and install cud be a hassle but worst is the tech support and forums, gives wrong answers to queries and email support takes days.
Pros: Kaspersky Internet Security 09 is a decent antivirus package that has a good amount of features to protect your PC.
Cons: Kaspersky is difficult to understand if my PC was infected or not, it says detected but that is only when you click on the detected button after a scan. When I did that it says things like vulnerability with my PC, I do not know if my PC is infected
