Excerpt: My system was infected with a virus that my McAfee coverage was unable to detect and eradicate. Purchased Kaspersky after reading several reviews, it worked! McAfee has lost a long time customer.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Navigate, Great Value, Powerful
Summary: Please note that this review is only about Kaspersky's customer support and not on the software itself. Personally I see this as a whole as they advertise their tech support as one of the product's features. I gave it two eggs because I still think the software itself is good. If customer support is important to you, keep on reading.
Summary: Too bad some don't even use the product, yet try to review it; don't be fooled. Kaspersky is a top tier AV. I've installed every brand of AV on client machines (including free ones, which are fairly good), but Kaspersky has few security holes. Hey, we want good protection. Resource use is in the middle. Just cut the auto renew link and buy at a better than online price each year. As soon as you renew, your credit card is cached for the future.
Summary: 1) I buy the 3-user license KAV from "fries" that puts it frequently on sale and by the time I get the rebates (always on time) it's free. I have also tried the other 3 major AV products (McAfee, Norton and AVG) that I uninstalled and went back to KAV. The Russians got product this right.
Pros: I have been using KAV for over 15 years for free. It is the best anti-virus software available and never had any problems with installation, performance, virus threats or conflict with other applications.
