Summary: Just stay off torrent sites and don't download anything that tells you that you have a virus. Because that's how you get them- by clicking on software on sites offering free scanning, tuning, and tweaking... if you didn't ask for it, reject it- otherwise, you're just asking for it.
Pros: Background process invisible comes into play only when you're about to go somewhere questionable or do something stupid
Cons: One of the systems I put it on bluescreens all the time as a direct result of its installation.
Pros: Seems to not cause a lot of lag, near zero in Gamer Mode. Uses less ram than previous versions
Cons: Rebate DENIED, saying Newegg wasnt a qualified seller, so I'm out 60 bucks. Would have just renewed for 20 instead. -Uses 100MB RAM on a 32-bit system. Unacceptable. -Doesnt come out of Gamer Mode like previous versions did when you werent gaming, and no way to set this up -No false positives, ma...
Summary: Got this on sale for $4.99 it's a great deal if you have other 3rd party like malwarebytes this a good deal for you. Windows firewall alone is good enough for an ordinary user
Pros: 1. Light on the system 2. Do what it needs to do 3. Work great with malwarebytes
Cons: 1. On some research NOD32 did not make a good star on fixing a comp with a malware infection (don't get the wrong idea NOD32 strain it before it gets through my thoughts are they tested it with a comp that already have a malware before they installed the NOD32)
