Summary: Apparently it didn't find the trojan let alone fix it and it seems that this trojan came with the free trial.
Pros: The browser add-on that eliminates most advertizing is very nice.
Cons: I installed the 30 day free trial version. After it took a very long time to run a PC tune up, I had to do a start up repair several times. The first time, it ran the PC tune-up AGAIN which takes several hours to complete.
Cons: It requires a system reboot every time it updates and has an annoying popup that only allows you to delay the popup from reappearing again. Really annoying and I have never had another AV that required reboots every time it updates.
Summary: If I would have purchased this AVG internet security I would be up in arms over the fact that it is way, way, way under par for calling it 2014 tech. I have no idea what got on my computer to cause the program it to shut off. But you'd think that it would detect something but never did.
Pros: they can give you a 30 day free usage
Cons: well!! I've never seen a security firewall that a outside source could put something on your computer to shut off the firewall. yes that's right not once not twice but several times without any detection from the AVG security fire wall. no warning at all.
