Great camera with all features in good working order.

Summary: Once I got a battery for the camera I found that it works as good as new. Only on my second roll of film & can't wait to shoot more with it. It arrived with very secure packaging with absolutely no damage to camera. Feel like I've got a real deal for a great vintage camera.
Well built n easy to use. A great and affordble alternative to a Rollei

Summary: An affordable alternative for those who would like to start out with medium format. It's pretty well built and feels really sturdy. The optics are good but of course ain't comparable to the Zeiss on the Rollei. It's really sharp when shoot around F8 and above. However for the price, it's really nothing to complain about. Compared to the Yashica 124, the 124G gear feels a little course. The older version TLR seems to be more silent and smooth.
Recommend this camera to medium format enthusiasts.

Summary: Camera came with lenses. Camera works perfectly and takes excellent 6x6 pictures. Old film cameras provide a fun that is lost a bit with quick-to-shoot DSLRs. And 6x6 provides 1.5x the resolution of 35mm DSLRs, and 2.25x the resolution of "prosumer" 24mm DSLRs.
A retro camera with beautiful results that will open a new world up to you

Summary: The Yashica TLR line of cameras have been used by my family since the early sixties. I was born into the digital world and the film world seemed one that I need not enter, a thing of the past as it was. My world changed when I started to use my father's old Yashica, and I have not picked up my digital camera in quite some time. It certainly requires more work and patients to get the right shot, but the results are very rewarding.
A good option to start MF, but there are better ones if you can afford it

Summary: The Yashica Mat 124G was my first "real camera" and I still have it and use it. It was designed following the Rolleiflex design but is slightly lighter, it had a better meter than the Rollei "E" and "F" models. What you don't get is the Rolleiflex quality, the amazing lenses and that magical name on front of the camera. Being a Medium Format camera, the results you get with is, by far, a lot better than you'll get wih a 35mm camera.
