Excerpt: Our photography department has come to rely on B&H Photo when purchasing cameras for our photography students. The cameras we have purchased have given our students confidence in taking pictures without the worry of difficulty in operating the V3800N camera. Customer Service and sales representatives are have been very helpful in determining and meeting our departmental needs. When it comes to purchasing cameras we rely on B&H Photo Video Pro-Audio.
Excerpt: So far this has held up well. Feels equal parts plasticky and metallic, nice heft to it. Everything fits well, nothing looks unfinished/ill fitting. Do wish I got the 50mm lens version though, but in the end I think it's better to have a cheap zoom lens, and find a faster 50mm K mount online or at your local shop. At first some controls felt a bit sticky/sluggish. Focus ring still feels a bit slow, but that's ok for beginners, and I'm sure it will wear in.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Easy To See Controls, Fingertip Controls, Good Weight, Reliable Operation
Excerpt: Instruction manual needs to be a little revised other than that the camera is so fun to use. Specially for a first timer. Its fully manual so you get to learn a lot and experiment with it. It pretty fast when shooting pictures.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Fast Film Loading, Strong Construction
Summary: Dude said camera was new in the box and never used and when he sent it to me the camera was dropped before and was cracked on the side and the film rewind lever was bent. Used product and wear and tear and tired to pull a fast one. Becareful and watch out for this dude!
