The S2 is based on the Nikon F80 body (as is the D100). I did think about the D200 but im not sure i would use the additional features. The way I see it at the moment, a camera will always be out of date within two years. If i saved a bit by buying the D80 now, I could then replace again...

...man Yann Arthus Bertrand ("The Earth from the Air") ? I was passing through Paris a few years ago and there was an exhibition of his stuff hanging from (I think) the railings of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Fantastic photography. It made me want to throw my Nikon F80 into a bin.
