Excerpt: I’ve been using the F65 for about seven months now and I’m pretty happy with it. To me, the most important opinion of the people are critics of product defects, so I’ll start there. -Batteries This is a weak point of this camera. CR2 lithium batteries used instead of normal batteries.
Excerpt: Cheap plastic horrible inconsequential feel. OK functionality but not remarkable. Back always break because catch integral and snaps off too easily. The F60 is better, more or less same functioanlity, and more solid feel also has a faster sync speed (125) and wont let you mis-sink your shot like the F65. The F65 should have been a free give away with a Litre of petrol. How this got in to your top 10 beggers belief.
Excerpt: An excellent introduction to SLR Photography. This camera has all the capabilities of more expensive Nikons but without the hefty price tag. To start with, the quality of prints you get from the F65 is superb. Colours are beautifully matched and the focus, even on Automatic, is excellent. The camera itself is easy to use once you've had a quick read of the manual because there aren't so many buttons.
Excerpt: I have owned this camera for a good 4 years now and is had been the best Film SLR I have come across yet. It is simple to use for the amateur photographer as it has automatic and programme settings and for the more advanced photographer are the aperture and shutter speed priority settings or the fully manual setting. The most useful tool on the camera for me is the double exposure function. The film doesn't wind on so you can take two photographs on one negative.
Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, packed with features, manual or automatic .
Excerpt: This is a fantastic camera for the first time SLR buyer. It comes with an instruction manual almost the size of the camera, and you can be snapping away within five minutes of opening the box. It has several modes with differing levels of user choice ranging from automatic where it operates as a simple point and shoot, to manual where you not only focus the camera but also are in control of aperature and shutter speed.
Pros: A good midrange SLR with plenty of features for the amateur photographer .
Excerpt: Hi, ultimately I have got this camera from my mom. It's simply excellent. I can't express when I read the specifications holding the sexy model into my hands. I compared with all other SLR models with same NIKON and other brands with my friends. They simply replied that I have got the best one. I am so pleased to say that, NIKON is the best. Just read the very very special features I mentioned below.
Pros: AUTO MODE, LCD PANEL, 5 AREA AF, LOCK ON FOCUS, 3D MATRIX
Cons: When I press the shutter in Shutter mode(S) or Aparture mode(A) the shutter release takes some time .
Excerpt: This model is an excellent starter SLR for the money. This was my first SLR and it was a great model to learn on. I was given it as a birthday present to get me started. You can just point and click on the automatic setting and then gradually learn about all the manual settings. The manual is easy to read and offers good advice on taking various shots and settings.
Excerpt: specifics: it's got a button on tha top that ya press to freeze time and ya can twist the dial on the top as well to change the settings (automatic, manual, aperture, shutter-speed, etc.). also when you wind-up the notch on the side of the camera it will play donnie osmonds greatest hits. oh... and film cost two fillies to get developed, fixed, then washed... but seeing as it's a Nikon will cost 10x more than normal film.
Excerpt: I was given My Nikon F65 for Christmas 2002 and it’s my prize possession. I have no complaints whatsoever. Picture quality is excellent and can easily be obtained on automatic settings. It has automatic settings for sport, portrait, landscape, still life and night photography; these are where the camera sets the right shutter speed and aperture for your intended need.
Pros: The model is simple to use and straightforward .
Cons: Can be quite big to take out sometimes to events where it may be damaged .
Excerpt: I have been into photography for most of my life, infact I started out venturing and dabbling with cameras, almost as long as I started to walk. I started out with a small kodak 126 given me to play with by my mother when I was a toddler! This is what really astarted me off in photography. ..
Pros: Lovely Lightweight Camera
Cons: Took a while getting to learn all the conponants
