Thinking of buying a second one as a backup

Serge, B&H Photo
27 December 2015
  • Excerpt: I've had it for over three years and I have it on me almost every day. The bellows mechanism and the cover feel a bit flimsy but they held up so far. Generally it feels a bit cheaper than what it is and how well it works. The rangefinder is superb, everything works really well.
  • Pros: Reliable Operation

best folder ever

kamerakorner, B&H Photo
15 October 2015
  • Excerpt: This is the best folder you can buy. The photos are fantastic! It is accurate, easy to use and so quiet that you won't know if it took the picture. It is so quiet that it puts Leica to shame. This is the camera to buy, especially over any folder before 1960.

3 Year Update

Litwit, B&H Photo
29 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I just wanted to add that after 3 years, I still love this camera. I mentioned in my original review that I opted for a 58mm to series 6 adapter that allows me to use my series 6 filters. The official hood takes 40.5 mm filters, same size as the series 6.

Superb Camera!

Fujifilm Fan, B&H Photo
21 February 2014
  • Excerpt: This camera delivers medium format quality that can fit inside a jacket pocket! The whole idea of a 6 x 7 camera that is actually pocketable is just crazy! Yet the other day I was out walking around with this camera folded up inside my jacket pocket. Truly a delightful shooting experience.
  • Pros: Build quality, Compact, Image quality, Portable

Very fine Medium Format Camera

Mediumwell, B&H Photo
4 February 2014
  • Excerpt: I own three medium format cameras, but the GF670 is my only modern one and only rangefinder. Ergonomics are an individual matter, but I find the camera very fast and comfortable to use in landscape and portrait orientation. Getting used to using my thumb to turn the focus wheel took only a few days.
  • Pros: Fun, Great lens, Lighweight, Reliable Operation, Stable Flash Sync
  • Cons: None
