Superb Camera!

Fujifilm Fan, B&H Photo
21 February 2014
 • Excerpt: This camera delivers medium format quality that can fit inside a jacket pocket! The whole idea of a 6 x 7 camera that is actually pocketable is just crazy! Yet the other day I was out walking around with this camera folded up inside my jacket pocket. Truly a delightful shooting experience. The viewfinder is THE largest, most clear viewfinder I have ever used. The focus is silky smooth and the rangefinder patch is bright and clear.
 • Pros: Build quality, Compact, Image quality, Portable
 • Cons: None

Very fine Medium Format Camera

 • Excerpt: I own three medium format cameras, but the GF670 is my only modern one and only rangefinder.

Ergonomics are an individual matter, but I find the camera very fast and comfortable to use in landscape and portrait orientation. Getting used to using my thumb to turn the focus wheel took only a few days. For a manual focus medium format camera, the GF670 operates easily and quickly.
 • Pros: Fun, Great lens, Lighweight, Reliable Operation, Stable Flash Sync
 • Cons: None

Boss of compact medium format

Maclay, B&H Photo
20 August 2013
 • Excerpt: Have been using the camera almost every day for the past two weeks and i am very happy with the purchase.
I love how compact it is for a medium format camera, at first i thought the bellows system could become annoying but to be honest hasent even been an issue.
Its light weight and very easy to load, also changing from 6x6 and 6x7 is very simple just the flick of a switch inside the camera when changing film, and the set up for shooting 120 to 220 is very easy...
 • Pros: Compact, Light weight, Reliable Operation

The most value for money portable professional grade film camera today.

losheng, Ebay
3 March 2013
 • Summary: This is a wonderful modern film camera. It folds down to a very compact size, so that it can go together with your DSLR to trips. It has the convenience of a modern, accurate metering that you can trust. It shoots 6x6 and 6x7, two of the most beautiful formats on the 120 film. The shutter is dead quiet, so you are not intrusive at all, and you can handhold the camera by an extra stop or two.

Outstanding camera

Miro, B&H Photo
7 September 2012
 • Excerpt: I shoot 6x6 with Hasselblad cameras but I traveling a lot and many time I just can´t carry 10 or 15 kg of gear with me all the time so I bought Fuji GF670 as a last option to replace my Hassy gear but still maintain a possibility to shoot 6x6 or 6x7. Well, now it is my first choice camera and I carry it with me everywhere. It is impossible not to fall in love with it despite it is a bit bulky but still much smaller then my Hassy gear.
 • Pros: Feel Good In Your Hand, Optical Quality, Reliable Performer, Silent Shutter
 • Cons: Fragile, Heavy, Some Plastic Parts

Typical Fuji Qualtiy

Riley, B&H Photo
1 June 2012
 • Excerpt: I have used various Fuji medium format cameras for over 20 years and the 670 has the typical razor sharp lense I have been accustomed to. I am impressed with the quiet shutter and the light weight of the camera. Prio Fujis were known for theit bulkiness.

I grew up using a Kodak Vigilant 616 bellows-type medium format and I am comfortable with the need to protect the fragility of the 670.
 • Pros: Accurate light meter, Accurate rangefinder, Quality lens, Quick film reload, Reliable Operation, Simple controls

Light and quiet

 • Excerpt: I have a Hasselblad and was looking for something a bit easier to carry everywhere. I also considered a Mamiya 7, but opted for the greater portability of the GF670.

I've run about 25 rolls of film through my GF670 and here are my early impressions.

I carry mine in a lens wrap in a small shoulder bag. It's quick to pull out and get ready for shooting.

To me the camera appears almost absurdly large.
 • Pros: Easy to use, Extremely portable, Unobtrusive
 • Cons: Difficult to use filters

Exactly What You Need and Nothing More

JaiYenJohn, B&H Photo
20 March 2012
 • Excerpt: I went through the run around of trying a lot of different 35mm camera systems various permutations of rangefinders, SLRs, Lenses etc. The photo quality was good, but didn't grab you. When it occurred to me that the easiest way to get much better quality was to ditch all this gear and just get a bigger negative instead.

I'm very happy with the GF670, it's very portable for a medium format camera, and it does exactly what you need it to do and no more.
 • Pros: 6x6 or 6x7 Switchable, Accurate metering, Simple operation
 • Cons: Filters are Problematic

Simply Spectacular

Medium Format Junkie, B&H Photo
15 March 2012
 • Excerpt: I was inspired to write this review because I just got some transparencies back from the processor of a trip I took to the Swiss Alps last year and they are so unbelievably awesome. I have a great digital camera which I like for movies and candids, but, really, even in this digital age, there are things that digital still just can't do. For those times, this is your camera.

It's lightweight, dual format, modern and has all the features you need.
 • Pros: Aesthetically Beautiful, Easy to use, High Quality, Metal Housings, Modern, Nothing Compares, Portable, Reliable Operation, Stable Flash Sync, Unique
 • Cons: No Ever Ready Case, Pricey Accessories

great new medium format camera

gastwa, B&H Photo
6 February 2012
 • Excerpt: this is a very easy camera to use and it made my transition into medium format photography very easy. Love the portability of the design, the ease of use and the accurate metering. The flexibility of 6x6 and 6x7 is a great feature. I had a defective unit on my first try (shutter would not fire properly) but B&H quickly replaced the unit and the film i had wasted before realizing that the shutter was not working.
