Ease of use

larne, Ciao
15 December 2003
  • Excerpt: I find my camera comes in very handy. My grandchildren especially like it as they do not have to wait long to see the photos that I have taken of them. Another advantage is that if the photo that you have taken has not come out too well you can take another without having to wait to send a film away...
  • Pros: easy to use, and you don't have to wait long to see the photos
  • Cons: can be a bit tricky at first to get use to

Instructions didn't help

indiegirl, Ciao
12 May 2001
  • Excerpt: My sis received this camera for her birthday, and I have to say that I have never seen such poor quality instructions along with the camera. OK, so it's a polaroid and it's a simple point-and-click, but even so some helpful hints would have been useful!
  • Pros: Easy to use once all settings were adjusted
  • Cons: Instruction booklet .  .  .  need I say more?

P-Cam Silver

  • Excerpt: images often bebefit from using the lightening compensator switch to `full light` end of the slider. the two focal settings `smiley` and `twin stick people` seem to work best if the smiley is shot at about four feet and the stick people five feet and beyond.

P polaroid

angel1987, Ciao
21 February 2001
  • Excerpt: This was the first polaroid model made. I like the shape and design. The photos show up in about 3 minutes, but it's fun to watch them develop. The film come is tens costing £9 I think and it's the 600 extreme film for this model. The camera itself actually costs £24.99 which is good.
  • Pros: good quick pictures
  • Cons: film is expensive

Polaroid P

Luce100, Ciao
13 October 2000
  • Excerpt: The polaroid P camera, I thought was pretty fun, although it was a bit big and chunky, this could be an advantage, say if you were buying it for a child. I liked the fact that it gives instant pictures. The main problem with this camera is not the price of the actual camera.
  • Pros: Big and chunky(good for children) and instant pictures
  • Cons: Not many features, films are expensive

The problem is the cost!

1234, Ciao
5 October 2000
  • Excerpt: Polaroid is a good product, and I do not think that people would not agree with me about it, but it is very expensive to keep taking pictures and not worry about the cost of the film. Last time one film was about £18pounds. For the same price I can take lots of pictures with my normal camera.
  • Pros: pictures in seconds
  • Cons: cost of the films

Good but not cheap

Nicola7, Ciao
17 July 2000
  • Excerpt: A polaroid camera is fun as well as practical. You can get your photos immediately so you don't have to bother about developing it or worry about forgetting to. The initial camera is not epensive but you have to bear in mind the costs of the film.
  • Pros: Fun
  • Cons: Cost
