This is one of the most funniest cameras. If not for polaroid stop producing film I'd buy more. This camera takes such breathtaking pictures. If you can get your hands on one you should. If there will be more photo film in the future that is. Read more

The Polaroid One600 Classic is, as its name implies, a nostalgic camera that brings back memories of the “old” Polaroid images from childhood. Don’t worry, though, this definitely isn’t grandma and grandpa’s camera any more! The Polaroid One600 classic is really suited to anyone’s use. Where the original Polaroid cameras were sometimes a little clunky and awkward to use, not to mention messy, the Polaroid One600 Classic offers a great folding design that portable and compact, slipping into bags and briefcases with ease. It also weighs nearly nothing!

The Polaroid One600 Classic accepts 600, 600 write on, 600 NotePad, and 779 film. This newer style Polaroid film doesn’t require airing out when it comes out of the camera and it doesn’t smell bad either. The image now dries behind a clear cover. So the days of waiving that Polaroid image around in the air are over! Don’t be tempted to try it either. Just lay the image down and let it develop, otherwise you could actually cause damage. It’s only a brief, three minute wait to see what you’ve got, so be patient!

In some ways the Polaroid One600 Classic is the ultimate toy for a drive through society. It fulfills a desire to capture a special moment nearly instantly. Better still, the Polaroid One600 Classic has been “supped up” with automatic shutter speeds, a self timer, red-eye reduction, dust protection, and contrast controls. While you won’t get the fanciful options that digital cameras offer, the Polaroid One600 Classics are great for more journalistic camera work that’s “in the moment.” The best range for taking pictures with this portable camera is at about 3-4 feet away, having a focal length of 100mm, and a fixed focus. The built in flash comes back online after about 5-6 seconds so you can get the next shot quickly.

When you consider that a smart shopper can find a Polaroid One600 Classic for between $40 and $80, it’s really a pretty good deal. Remember that you won’t be paying to have your film developed at the store (not to mention waiting for it)!
