  • Excerpt: Before we purchased our Honeywell HEPAClean Tower Air Purifier, we spent bookoos of money on worthless allergy medications to absolutely no avail. Now, with this air purifier, we do not spend nearly as much money on allergy medications or doctor's visits. Everybody is healthier, happier, and better off!Ease of MaintenanceThis air purifier is very easy to maintain. I love it!Dust/Allergen RemovalWe always had really bad allergies around here, but not now!

A little loud but great for a large room!

  • Excerpt: I use this air purifier in my living room (and my husband has one in his large home office in our basement), and it works great! It can be a little loud, even on low settings, but I've gotten used to the white noise. We just turn it off if we want to watch TV or a movie. Or we just turn the TV up.Ease of MaintenanceThis air purifier is pretty easy to maintain.

Saved my allergies...

  • Excerpt: OK, not a cheap one. But well worth it. I bought this thing a couple of years ago, when there were issues due to mold in my kitchen. I am allergic to mold, which was giving me migraines. It took over a month between when the mold was discovered to deciding on a company to handle the renovation, and I kept getting migraines because of the allergy. None after getting this! I survived the kitchen renovation (tons of dust) and a bathroom renovation after that.

Noisy but works great!

  • Excerpt: Between living in a not so airtight 100 year old house, near a busy roadway, and having a smoker in the house. we needed an air purifier and cleaner. I had no idea how dirt the air in my house was until I bought this air purifier. It took ONE day for the filter to show exactly how dirty the air we were breathing was. After using this product for a month, we noticed that we breathed easier, had less sinus, eye and throat irritations and infections.

Honeywell HHT-145 recommended for Pet Owners

slam91, Ebay
7 February 2012
  • Summary: This is a replacement. We have dogs and it certainly removes odor. The Honeywell HHT-145 is HEPA and we use it with a charcoal pre-filter. It handles everything that you throw at it. The unit has Variable Speed, Oscillating, and UV features. We run this unit 24/7, it is not silent but it is good white noise. I defiantly recommend this for pet owners.

This is a piece of Junk - Don't Buy

DeathPilot3, Amazon
20 December 2011
  • Summary: This thing is a piece of junk. It is not really Honeywell it is made by a company called Yaz. How do I know that? well when it quit working less than 6 weeks after I got it, I had to email and email to get a Return Authorization. The best is I HAD TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING (did I mention I only had it 6 weeks???) I have paid for the unit, I dont have one, and YAZ has not responded to the return. Less than zero stars for this...

Allergies, Asthma, Smelly Dog, Be Gone!

No Justice, plumbersurplus.com
1 June 2011
  • Summary: I chose this product because of the UV light to kill germs and viruses and haven't been disappointed as I work with ill clients. I also wanted it because I have allergies and asthma and a dog who wants to sleep in my room. This product eliminates the dog danger, odor and hair! Can't tell she's there. No runny nose, no post-nasal drip, no sneezing, no congestion. No asthma symptoms! It's a dream machine!

Great air filter

Bryce Hale, Amazon
29 January 2011
  • Summary: I had one of those sharper image ionic breeze. That didn't move that much air was a pain to clean. This Honeywell has lifetime filters, you can cut the ozone maker off if you want. Has a variable speed fan, which means it can be quiet or turn it up for some white noise to sleep by. Very cool product.

Loud but Effective Air Purifier Helps Me Sleep

strawberryfields4, Viewpoints
27 December 2010
  • Excerpt: Let me review this from the perspective of having allergies to dust mites and air-borne allergens and using this in my bedroom so I can sleep better. (I'm also a fairly particular sleeper!) I have used several less expensive air purifiers but have found that the Honeywell HEPAClean Tower Air Purifier was worth the extra price. One drawback is that it is sort of loud, but it's actually a nice white noise that has HELPED me fall asleep.

Seems to be working great!

Ajj13, Viewpoints
28 November 2010
  • Excerpt: Although the Honeywell HEPAClean Tower Air Purifier with UV Germ Reduction & CZ Odor Control wasn't cheap, buying an air purifier was a necessity for our home and this air purifier seemed to fit the bill the best.  Our cat has asthma and we needed something to help clean the air for her.  So far, it appears to be working.  Of course, it's hard to say. This device sold me because it was a large size and works for large rooms without being overly large and dominating.
