Summary: new egg should let me give 0 egg to this product
Pros: it blows out a little cool air
Cons: It is quite noisy, and I cannot believe it's 8000 btu. I really want to do a test to see weather Haier is cheating. Haier is a Chinese brand and I am actually Chinese, but I have to say this AC is a shame of Chinese appliance. Haier put a low quality adhesive tape at the front panel of the AC. Af...
Pros: It works, has some cool settings. I like the dehumidifier.
Cons: Doesnt cool no where what a 8,000 BTU should. Its in my Master Bedroom and takes a good hour to get it where I want it in Oregon weather.....Had a 6,000 BTU in the heat of TEXAS summer cool my room A pinch faster. If you accidentally turn the AC onto fan mode you have to wait 5-10 minutes for the...
Summary: If it lasts 2-3 years than it is worth it for me. I can keep central air in house at 78f and my bedroom at 70f.
Pros: Cheaper than others. Cools as Expected. Remote Control.
Cons: Directional vents are a joke. This thing throws all the air to the right if your looking at it. Kind of risky if you get a bad one (who is going to pay return shipping). Styrofoam was rubbing against the fan, so I had to Push it back (hopefully it stays)
Summary: Site said 4 way air flow, only has 2 way. The front grill and vent are cheap plastic, wouldn't take much to damage them. It does blow cold air. It does the job with cooling off 600sqft of apartment. Dehumidify mode works well also. It uses a lot less energy then my older 8000btu Kenmore ac.
