Summary: I have this AC and used it for about 2 years then it developed a leak. It doesn't cool anymore. I tried to get Haier to repair it or get a replacement I have to pay for everything. I had one before this and that lasted for over 5 years without any problem. I believe they have a problem with their quality. I would not buy another AC from them anymore.
Summary: I have a Haier washer/combo and was impressed with the quality...it's awesome and very energy efficient. When I started looking for AC's I tried one other, and it was too big and heavy for my windows (I'm upstairs) and no way to support it from outside...I returned that one and looked again and that's when I spotted the Haier..It is perfect. Runs very quietly, has a fan option if you just want air...If I had seen this unit first it would have been my first choice..
Summary: This is easy to install, easy to clean, easy to live with, and has been very lasting. One unexpected bonus: the remote has a magnet on the back so you can stick it to anything metal near your bed or chair.
Summary: Compact, quiet, installed to make a guest room tolerable in the summer's awful heat and humidity, very successful at that and now regularly used with the aid of a fan to dehumidify that room and two others plus a bathroom, all opening off a common hallway.
Summary: I bought this AC because I was somewhat on a budget and I live in a TINY city apartment and didn't need much (or so I thought.) I put the AC in the bedroom, which is probably a 10x10 room, and set the AC on the lowest temp (60 degrees.) It never got my room below 75, even with the door shut and it running all night. The air that blows is cool, but not COLD, and I had to put a fan directly in front of it to get the air to travel at all.
