  • Excerpt: I bought this AC for a small 6'x 12' study which adjoins my 10'x16' bedroom--both rooms are on the top floor which bake all day. When I'm in the study, I have to set it at low cool because it gets too cold. It is about as noisy as a Motel-6 wall unit. And produces a nice clilled airstream that cools a 12 x 20 room noticeably in 20 minutes. Easy install simple controls.

  • Excerpt: We have been living in our home for about 6yrs and our CHA went out. And we don't have the money to fix. So, we noticed that Lowe's had these on sale and bought one. They were very easy to install and to uninstall (for the winter months). It comes with a remote, which is a great plus. It is quiet, and is energy star rated. It cooled off our bedroom within 30 mins. It is a great little air conditioner and I highly recommend it.

Too cold!

  • Excerpt: My boyfriend purchased the Frigidaire FRA256ST2 25000 BTU Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner when we moved in together. We happened to  be moving in together during the summertime (not very smart, when you live in Southern California). We could only handle the heat (which got up to 113 degrees that summer). The poor excuse of a window air conditioner that we had was not cutting it. Not at all.
