Deficient Product - Works as a Fan and not as an AC Unit!
9 July 2014
Summary: I bought this item New, but when I received the box it was used and I can tell by the repackaged staples along the edges of the box. Inside the box the bracket sliders were broken into pieces. Worst yet, the air conditioning doesn't work!
Summary: I was so pumped to get this thing based on the reviews. We have two window units in our house, but needed something for our bedroom because of the odd configuration of our windows and furniture. Assembly was a breeze, and I let it sit for awhile to make sure the coolant was all settled.
Summary: This arrived with several problems and Delonghi's way of managing the issue creates difficulties for customers. The first problem I had was that the hose, which has two plastic tabs to connect it to the machine, had one broken tab.
Summary: I'm trying to decide why I love this so...undoubtedly a week of 85+ degree days is a factor, though I'm trying to keep it from unduly influencing me. So let's start with the basics. This is billed as a "portable" unit, though it's portable only insofar as it's not attached to anything.
Summary: I purchased this unit just before the last 100 degree heatwave to hit the northeast this summer. It was so easy to install and so user friendly and so good that I decided to write this review for Amazon, the first which I have ever done. I would highly recommend this device to anyone.
Summary: I've seen so many poor reviews for this product that I had to step up and add my opinion. I have two of the PAC A120E units... I bought the first one at the beginning of the 2011 cooling season and used it throughout a record-breaking summer with no problems whatsoever.
Summary: This power hungry garden hose is absolute junk. I have also been shopping on newegg about a decade and this is the first product that was negative enough for me to put a negative review down -- usually the fact it is carried here is enough to verify quality for me.
Pros: it has wheels, which is good for moving it room to room and it puts no pressure on old window frames (these are really pros for any portable a/c in this style although)
Cons: I bought A110 (essentially same they share a manual) in 2009. It arrive before leaving for a trip and not used a few wks. When I did open it the remote was broken and surprisingly a sticker's on back "factory recertified unit no returns allowed" I did I sign something when I bought it noting I ac...
Summary: This is the worst product I have ever bought. It doesn't cool very well but most importantly, it leaks terribly. The drain plug doesn't make a good seal on the drain. Luckily, I caught it quickly and was able to clean up the spill.
Summary: Obviously I didn't read reviews before buying the product. I guess it is my fault to buy this faulty product. Just FYI, good luck if you want it repaired. I was told there are only four states where their service centers are located. Guess what? Pennsylvania isn't one of them.
Summary: A bit loud but it does the trick. We use it in one room and with the door shut, it does a good job of cooling down that room. I wouldn't say that this unit would be up to the job of cooling down more than one room. It comes with a remote control, which is great because I am lazy.
