A very nice suprise

Sandy, Yamaha
1 July 2014
  • Summary: I bought this instrument for the purpose of silent practice, expecting it to sound mediocre when plugged into a traditional amp. I was mistaken! The tone is terrific. The 25" scale (like a Gibson Johnny Smith)makes for very good intonation, and there are no dead/hot spots on the entire neck.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

  • Summary: Replaced a couple of very old acoustics with this great guitar. I was hesitant, but could not find a bad review anywhere on the web. So glad I bought this easy playing and great sounding "acoustic" guitar. Paired it with a modeling amp and I am having a lot of fun with this pair.

  • Summary: I love this guitar - I haven't put it down since I got it just after Christmas. I'm using it with the Yamaha THR5A and the combination is awesome - everyone whose heard me play have been very impressed.
