Summary: I took a job as a contractor in Afghanistan and started looking for a travel guitar to take with me to begin rehabbing my hand. i looked at and tried many "travel" guitars from almost every manufacturer and most sounded like a toy cardboard box and were built about as good too. The SL feels like a real guitar and breaks down small enough to fit in overhead storage on a plane. This is a fine quality instrument.
Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune
Summary: Replaced a couple of very old acoustics with this great guitar. I was hesitant, but could not find a bad review anywhere on the web. So glad I bought this easy playing and great sounding "acoustic" guitar. Paired it with a modeling amp and I am having a lot of fun with this pair. I see no reason to use anything else for practice or performance.
Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Stays In Tune
Summary: This guitar replaces my Martin Backpacker for travel yet I find myself playing it at home when I should be playing my other guitars. Proffesional class instrument and great value at it's price.
Pros: Durable, Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Intonation, Great Look And Feel, Great Sound, Highly Responsive, Very Comfortable Neck, Very Light Yet Pro Feel
Summary: I love this guitar - I haven't put it down since I got it just after Christmas. I'm using it with the Yamaha THR5A and the combination is awesome - everyone whose heard me play have been very impressed. i have a Yamaha APX 8A which I've played for many years but the SLG110S guitar is 10 times better - action good, easy to play, great sounds. I'm not using it silent, I've only used it once with headphones, as the combination of the THR5A and this guitar is just so good.
