Great sound great quality

Atlanta Kid, Yamaha
20 May 2013
  • Summary: Great instrument both in sound and build quality and workmanship. I own a Yamaha Electric for past 10 years and love these Yamaha Guitars. I own a Hofner HM83 and hopefully in a year or two, I will upgrade to the Yamaha LJX26C or LLX26C, been wanting a Japan made Yamaha for a while now, maybe Yamaha will offer a rebate program on these fine guitar lines.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

FG series...still, and always a winner!

sturner01, Yamaha
14 May 2013
  • Summary: I use this guitar in my acoustic band. I have another FG from the 70's I cherish. When I needed an acoustic/electric I turned no further than one from the same tried and true FG series. I don't need another, more expensive guitar. The FG's are built well and the tone only improves with age. This new FG is every bit the guitar it's 70's version is in every way. The quality shows. Sounds great acoustic or electric. Plays easy and remains in tune.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

Excellent Guitar - Excellent Value

"Ross", Yamaha
26 February 2013
  • Summary: I did a ton of research before buying the guitar and have to say I'm more than pleased. I'm a true beginner, to the point that I could only play a few chords on the guitars I tested before deciding on a purchase. I looked at more expensive guitars, including an Ovation Celebrity Contour, a Breedlove Passport C250 and even a Seagull Entourage. At nearly $200.00 less than those guitars, this guitar is a tremendous value and definitely holds it's own in sound quality.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

Great guitar for the money

JT, Yamaha
15 February 2013
  • Summary: I bought this to play at home mostly, practicing and recording. The action and neck/fret feel is nice. I just love picking this thing up. It sounds nice and plays great. It's not perfect but would be hard to beat for the money. There are a couple of blemishes in the top grain, and the detail around the soundhole and fretboard are pretty simple but overall it seems well constructed.
  • Pros: Fun To Play, Good Feel, Nice action, Stays In Tune
  • Cons: Top Grain Blemishes
