Fantastic guitar.

Clint, Yamaha
6 December 2014
  • Summary: I have this guitar hooked up to a Fishman Loudebox Mini, and it sounds great. I was looking for an every day guitar because I do not want to always pull out my "higher end" instruments. This guitar, however, plays every bit as well in my opinion. And, I love the sunburst finish.
  • Pros: Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Intonation, Great Sound, Great Sound Playability

  • Summary: Great instrument both in sound and build quality and workmanship. I own a Yamaha Electric for past 10 years and love these Yamaha Guitars. I own a Hofner HM83 and hopefully in a year or two, I will upgrade to the Yamaha LJX26C or LLX26C, been wanting a Japan made Yamaha for a while now, maybe Yamaha...
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

FG series...still, and always a winner!

sturner01, Yamaha
14 May 2013
  • Summary: I use this guitar in my acoustic band. I have another FG from the 70's I cherish. When I needed an acoustic/electric I turned no further than one from the same tried and true FG series. I don't need another, more expensive guitar. The FG's are built well and the tone only improves with age.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

"Ross", Yamaha
26 February 2013
  • Summary: I did a ton of research before buying the guitar and have to say I'm more than pleased. I'm a true beginner, to the point that I could only play a few chords on the guitars I tested before deciding on a purchase.
  • Pros: Consistent, Fun To Play, Good Feel, Rich Sound, Stays In Tune

  • Pros: Fun To Play, Good Feel, Nice action, Stays In Tune
  • Cons: Top Grain Blemishes
