  • Summary: received in very good condition - complete and very nice. The only negative part is that it took too long to get material after payment.

  • Summary: Very impressed with how this guitar plays, really bright sound that is warm and has a good punch even when not plugged into an amp. The finish is nicely done, it's the little details on the headstock and around the sound hole that finish this guitar off beautifully. Has a real quality feel to it, and sounds superb when amplified or just played acoustically.

  • Summary: I've been an electric player for man years and have always had a cheap acoustic kicking around for the odd strum along or to use as a quick and convenient writing tool but I decided it was time to buy myself my first "proper acoustic". I spent a long time comparing the options around this price range. The final decider for me was the playability. Of all the models I tried the yamaha cpx was easily the most effortless to play.

  • Summary: Build quality is excellent and a great looking guitar. I tried a number of guitars in the price range and this most closesly met my needs. Amongst the guitars I tried, there was another guitar that had a better acoustic response, but the Yamaha CPX1000 (with its SRT system) sounded the best plugged into an amp, which is what swung it for me.
