Beautifully built with construction features rarely found at this price. Solid spruce top with inlaid wood rosette, fully bound fret board, rosewood faced tuning head with beautiful inlays. The workmanship is first rate, clean gluing, smooth scalloped bracing, perfectly bookmatched, smooth fret ends and the list goes on.

The action was great right off the rack and there is plenty of saddle to accommodate a bit of predictable bellying. The tuners are my only thing I'm not too sure about yet as they seem to have a bit of play and one stiffens up time to time.

As for the sound, this thing has incredible low end and is generally responsive through the mids and highs. I couldn't believe it when I first played it. The strong low is good for bare thumb finger style but a bit much when using a thumb pick. Flat picking sounds good bottom to top.
