Summary: I have owned numerous classical guitars and I am a real cheapskate when it comes to buying things on line. I mean if I don't get at least 3 to 4 times the value for what I paid, I feel like I screwed up. So, when I received this guitar, and UPS had put a serious ding in it, I was totally bummed out. It was already a blem with 2 other dings, but I worked on it for a while, tuning, cleaning, fret polishing, etc.
Summary: I was very surprised that such a reasonably priced guitar was so nice. The fit , finish was beautiful. The action was just right, and the sound was pretty impressive. It was in every way as nice or nicer than any beyond it's price. I was proud to give it to my dad who wants to take up a new hobby at the age of 66! Go dad! Washburn guitars are at time a crapshoot, but this one is well worth double the money (for say like a Cordoba C5).
Summary: I just received it yesterday. I have to say that, the sound is deep and rich. The detail on the body is impressive for a guitar that price. I didn't buy it for myself, it was for a friend, but he had a hard time prying it off my hands. Now am planning to purchase one for myself and use my other guitar for road trips. i fell in love with this one. Highly recommended.
Summary: It is a beautiful instrument and plays well. Compared to similary priced guitars it is superior. Please take into account though, that I am just an advanced beginner. I am planning to buy the Washburn C-80 when I become better.
Summary: I play primarily electric guitar and steel string acoustics, but wanted to pick up a classical guitar for some new sounds. Classical guitars can cost thousands of dollars, but there are some really nice sounding budget friendly Classicals out there these days. This Washburn is a steal. It has a solid spruce top. (a BIG plus at this price point) Overall, the finish quality on the guitar is excellent.
