Summary: hi i'm a teacher and i have tendonitis in my elbows... i gave up guitar a few years ago due to pain. however, i've often thought about maybe someday purchasing a light hiking guitar which would be less heavy/tough on my elbows. so i was just looking around... i found this and thought i'd try it... took the risk. so worth it. oh my! i'm playing guitar again, a LOT!
Summary: Note that is instrument is made of HPL [High Pressure Laminate], and is not solid wood. The top is also HPL, just for the record. The advantage of HPL is that it is very stable and very strong. The disadvantage is that it doesn't have the natural resonance of a good solid tone wood, like spruce, for instance. However, this guitar does have a pleasant tone and pretty good sustain for a composite instrument.
Summary: Would have gone with a Yamaha or other small body if if making the purchase again. Not that there's anything really bad about it, but the sound is inferior to the competition, with cheap feeling construction.
Summary: I wanted a guitar that would fit in the overhead compartment for my flight to Jamaica, that first of all would sound good, and secondly not be too expensive. The Luna Muse fits the bill! Very nice sound from a relatively inexpensive guitar! The gig bag that comes with it is pretty much useless for airline traveling; I found a nice padded case that will work fine. Very handsome guitar; I love the mahogany.
Summary: I received this well over a week ago. I have been playing it every day since. The strings that came on it sounded fine to me, but I threw on some extra heavy DR Black Beauty acoustics. The little guitar really does sound nice! The DR coated strings really feel great on the fingers. The action at the nut is a little high. I like to grab open F chords, and that can be difficult with the action so high....

Summary: This is an excellent little guitar. I bought it as a travel/camping guitar, but it's fast becoming my favourite!! I challenge you to buy one and find it's becoming your "first" guitar. Light and easy to play, excellent sound and look, great build quality and playability. Lots of fun!! This guitar sounds much better than the competition, and looks incredible!! It has a sweet, focused sound which is a joy to sing with!!
Summary: Very impressive Luna! I wanted something inexpensive to take on vacation instead of lugging one of my full size guitars. Did some research and read good things about the Luna Safari so took a chance and ordered one. Arrived in perfect condition, set up and ready to play. Tuned it up and was amazed by the quality of sound from such a small body. Action is good, intonation is right on, and it is just plain fun to play.
Summary: Luna guitars are gorgeous and great quality for what i paid. i will buy my guitars from them in the future. the only downside is if you a serious player youll wanna change the strings out. i bought the travel size for my child sized hands and its been a lot better to play then a typical guitar. very lightweight. cant recommend enough.
A really beautiful guitar at a very reasonable price.

Summary: This guitar sounds amazing right out of the box as far as I`m concerned and I`ve been playing for nearly 30 years. A great fit for a beginner or an adult as a travel-size.I researched Luna and have found them to be a very quality, detailed and forward thinking company. We bought this for our 11 year old son for Christmas and Fedex wound up dropping it at the wrong address, which left us initially thinking it had been stolen from our doorstep or at best lost during...
Summary: This guitar is PERFECT for what I needed. I'm a music teacher who has suddenly found herself on the "cart" and I wanted an affordable, lovely sounding, easy to play travel guitar...and that's exactly what this is! I tried out the Baby Taylor, the Little Martin...both kinds, the Martin Backpacker, the Little Brat, and the Yamaha.
