"If you find one for under $250, buy it."

zzounds.com
21 March 2009
  • Excerpt: I play jazz and blues, and it is very responsive to the tube amps I use (1969 Gibson, 1997 Tube Works). A very versatile and playable guitar.

Versatile, Plugged or Unplugged

Mycroft, music123
10 March 2009
  • Summary: December 2008, I bought an AF75 red sunburst. The action is reasonably soft with a good set-up. No fret buzz or lame tuner issues. Ibanez does have good quality on this basic hollow body with clean sound holes and attractive binding.

"The Most Brilliant Guitar I Have Ever Seen"

By a customer from rock.com, zzounds.com
7 February 2009
  • Excerpt: This guitar has a warm, bluesy sound on its own, but can transform into many different styles like classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. Seymour Duncan made this guitar into a badass rocker.

  • Excerpt: The sound is great. Played in store so when i went to purchase they were sold out.I sought this moldel just because of the sound (artcore) the hollow body works for all styles of music.i wanted the af105 but hey this was half the price. well worth the money.

You Can Rock With It, But Jazz'n With It Is MUCH Better

Nealio, music123
19 March 2008
  • Summary: Just a fine, fine jazz guitar. Fit, finish, stable and slick neck. Unless you're buying your Gibson or Guild to pamper your ego, then this is really all you need for some serious, serious jazz. I own the red sunburst--people comment on its appearance, and then the TONE, all the time.

A very good archtop

Benoit, music123
21 July 2006
  • Summary: I have this guitar since one year now. This is a very easy playable archtop. Fine action. I changed the pickups for Gibson 57 and this guitar is now my prefered. The original Ibanez pickups are so so. With the 57, the tone is perfect. A great guitar

  • Excerpt: The sound is great. Great blues and jazz riffs, also plays rock/roll like led zeppelin perfectly. Using it with a Vox AD30VT, i love it
