Summary: My daughter is eight and decided to buy this on her own. It tuned up nicely with no problems. The tuners aren't great, but they're not bad either. The guitar sounds tinny and very bright, but that's to be expected with the smaller size. It's rather loud, too. The action is very good, and there is no fret buzz on any of the strings in any position. Very impressive. The electronic tuner it comes with is awkward to use.
Summary: This is a great pink guitar for a girl just beginning to play. Sure, it doesn't sound as great as other guitars, but it's also under [...]. The pink is a great color. We had originally purchased the Dean PinkBurst Guitar, which arrived damaged and was definitely not pink (more of a reddish/orange/pink). The Dean sounded a bit better, but the craftsmanship was no where near as good as the Daisy Rock.
Summary: Package just arrived this afternoon--very large cardboard Nike box (I thought it contained soccer goals my son had ordered!)with the considerably smaller guitar box sliding around inside--there was just a very small amount of crushed brown bag-type packing--definitely very minimal protection.
Summary: Well, have never been able to tune it. Kept it because my wife said my daughter won't know the difference and will love it forher birthday. 5 months later and it just sits there on a stand. Maybe she's still too young (5) we'll see. I'm going to try some new strings.
Summary: This guitar played well in a local shop, and an out of state relative bought this for my daughter from Amazon. It arrived quickly from Amazon. There was no padding or protection in the original packaging, and the original packaging was not protected either. The original packaging was battered and torn. The lacquer and finish on the guitar are chipped where the neck is joined to the body, and on closer inspection the neck is actually pulling away from the body.
Summary: well we just got this guitar tonight - my 9 yr old daughter has been anxiously waiting for it!! She sold her own toys to purchase it - and it wont hold a tune at all!! We tried to tune it (her father and I) my husband also plays acoustic guitar - so he knows how to tune it. And his dad came over - who has played all types of guitars for many, many years and he said it wil NEVER be able to hold a tune!! My daughter was so upset!!
Summary: Bought this for my six year old daughter. No instructions at all. Came with strap but nowhere to attach it on center top. Tuner arrived broken again with no insturctions. Not worth the price even on sale.
Summary: I bought this product and never even saw it. I was waiting on it to shipped to me, when all of a sudden i was alerted that it had been damaged and returned to the seller. I recieved no options and the money was returned to my account, which is great, but i wanted the guitar. Now i have to go through the whole process again with absolutly no word from the sender, no offer to discount, or even an apology. Thanks a whole lot.
Great value, but color is not exactly bubble-gum pink!!!

Summary: I bought this set for my daughter's 6th birthday after she begged for a pink guitar for more than a year. Overall, we were both very happy with it. I wasn't sure if she was serious about wanting to learn to play, so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a "real" guitar, but when I found this for $49, I was happy to buy the real thing instead of a toy!
