Summary: When you first hookup the amplifier do not expect it to sound great as the factory default setting seldom match your taste. But once you have had it playing for a while and you've figure out the bass and treble and you've adjusted your speaker settings how you want them then crank it up sit back and be amazed. Weather it's movies or music this receiver will not disappoint you.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
Summary: HDMI 2.0 capable and has all the expected features you would want from a modern day AVR. For full future proofing (HDCP 2.2) this is not for you, but as of the time of this review there is no device out there that has HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 capabilities, so for now this is a really good receiver.
Summary: music lovers will not be dissappointed in terms of bang for the buck by either its versitility or performance. the only complaint i have has nothing to do with performance, but, i wish it was not necessary to use the remote for some of the more basic tasks, like playing music from a usb drive.
Summary: This receiver has, thus far, done everything it promised in the short time I've had it. It was easy to set up and configure - even the speaker set up using the included mic. I especially like that it has plenty of HDMI ports as this was a problem on the receiver it replaced. I think the picture on my year old Samsung TV is also much crisper and the audio sounds great in my in-ceiling speakers. The iOS app is easy to use and I use that to set inputs, etc.
