Summary: A very good option in a single amplifier equipment. Is easy to use and has many features that will delight the listener. Very good sound for movies. The wireless settings can be better or easier, but once you do, it's correct. Good calibration system, but can improve the appearance of the subwoofer. Android App good and functional for what is needed. Thanks Yamaha ... I am very happy with it.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Interfaces Well With TV
Summary: Picked this badboy up for $300 during one of the lightning deal periods. Even at the normal price of $500, this is a solid buy. The receiver outputs CRYSTAL clear sound. There are 6 (5 rear, 1 front) HDMI ports, so there is enough for all your components. The Receiver is actually a little smaller than expected which is nice. The Onscreen displays are easy to use and informative. The Extra features like Pandora, USB, and DLNA all work VERY WELL.
Summary: I purchased the RX-V673 to complete a home theater setup in my basement. Several of the key attributes attracted me to this model. The 7.2, the power rating, the 4K pass-through, etc. And since receiving it and setting it up, I couldn't be happier. I've actually found it to be more powerful than I needed for my room. I can't even come close to maxing it out without the wife and kids screaming at me that I'm shaking the house down.
Summary: I've had this receiver for 5 months now. I upgraded from a 15 year old model, so obviously love having more modern functions. I am only using two speakers currently, so no info on surround sound experience. Also, haven't connected it to outside speakers yet so can't comment on multi-zone functionality. Pros: - Easy to set up. I'm a geek but found the configuration easy to do, everything clearly marked and logically arranged. TV on screen menus made it even easier.
Summary: This we love!! I have installed this into my basement and really like the way it works. I have had only one issue with the receiver ant that is that we cant get any "over the air" radio stations using the antenna's that come with the system but that may be because we are in the basement.
Summary: I bought this for my spouse. He has searched for receivers for months. This is his 3rd receiver. We still have the other two in different rooms after several years of use. The performance is great. Their quality beats most other brands easily. Great product at a great price!
Summary: Used this to replace burned out Onkyo and have been very satisfied. Setup and use is relatively easy compared to my previous experience with AV Receivers. I'm especially happy with the way the iPad Controller App works for my Zone2, something I could never get right with my prior AV Receiver. My picture is as great as ever with my Panasonic projector and the Surround Sound seems a bit better for movies.
Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls
MAKE "FRIENDS " WITH IT AND IT BECOMES USER-FRIENDLY!

Summary: Sure to satisfy upper-middle A/Vphiles and at a GREAT PRICE! More than adequate power (makes my 7.2 Cerwin Vegas[large speakers] SLAM. Rivals my previous Pioneer and Onkyo higher-end receivers. Contols well laid-out and it's a looker. Practical features that you'll actually use (not THX certified - who needs it?) Remote adorned with many buttons that are difficult to read - but what supplied remote isn't? It's a keeper and no regrets.
Summary: Overall, this is a great-sounding receiver and has improved my home theater sound experience. The big disappointment I have, however, is that you cannot create and save your own customized sound programs. For example, I watch a lot of sports and in particular Formula One auto racing (no NASCAR). Sound is a big part of the enjoyment of racing, so I started by using the auto-leveling microphone to set up the baseline levels for the room.
