RX-V575-R receiver.

TCJ, Amazon
20 January 2015
  • Summary: I used to have a Yamaha 5.1 receiver that worked for about 10 years and still working. I replaced it with RX-V575-R because of the newer technologies in modern receivers. I got this unit as a refurb which was substantially cheaper than the new.

Keeper!

TC Sailor "Steve", Amazon
23 December 2014
  • Summary: I finally upgraded from my old Yamaha RX-V2090 7.1 receiver. The old one still sounds great, but the new one fits in with the rest of my 3D home theater setup better, since it has the current audio formats and HDMI. My wife loves the network music options as well.

Great receiver, highly recommended!

buffhawk84, Amazon

  • Summary: This is a top notch receiver for people on a budget. Add a wireless bridge ($20) for net options like Pandora, stream from your computer, or choose from hundreds of pre-set Internet radio stations.

Great unit but needs remote or app for best use

Dave Beck "Dave B", Amazon
19 November 2014
  • Summary: I have been using this and the RX-V475 for about 4 months now on a daily basis and like them both. I bought the 475 first for about $200 reconditioned and thought it was such a deal that I bought the 575 twin which I use to drive both indoor and outdoor speakers.

HDMI failure on this reciever

James S., Amazon
19 November 2014
  • Summary: I really don't hate it but when it worked properly it was a fabulous receiver but I haven't owned it that long and already the HDMI ports have failed and that was the main reason that I bought it. I need to send it back for warranty work and get the HDMI ports fixed.

Great sound and quality.

DetroitJake, Amazon
5 November 2014
  • Summary: I'm a pretty big fan of Yamaha receivers. They are focused on sound quality, quality, and simplicity. The look is a tad boring, but my Yamahas are all still in service. Haven't had the same experience with Pioneer brand receivers.

Great product

dirty dan, Amazon
31 October 2014
  • Summary: Great sound, good power, easy to connect, remote is easy to use also, I love it. I'm not a sound master like most people on here apparently, so I cant tell you technical things, but I will say I'm very picky about my sound and speakers, bass/treble, etc.

Dead after two months

Kevin H., Amazon
26 October 2014
  • Summary: Unit does not turn on after only two months of use. The power light just flashes a few times and it never turns on. According to some online forums the light indicates that it has a fault and must be repaired. Ridiculous to have this after only two months.

Works well enough to be new. It's astonishing that it's refurbished.

Mike Burroughs "Mike", Amazon
24 October 2014
  • Summary: I've had this receiver for about 7 months now, and it has yet to disappoint. AirPlay works flawlessly, the sound is fantastic, the plethora of inputs completely exceed my needs, and it just looks good. I don't expect this performance from a refurbished device. I expect it from a new one.
