Summary: Purchased this receiver back in 2011. Right out of the box it is very easy to set up and use. Controller is simple and easily lets you switch between inputs. Sound is great. Have this paired with a JBL home threatre speaker system and for under 500 bucks I am very happy with it. Only have two complaints: Sub has a lot of power and when the bass is really thumping it rattles pretty much everything around it.
Summary: I bought it from US and used it in myanmar .I rarely played with it because I have other receivers.I have used with it round about 30 or 35 dvds.I'm sure that it is used with right power supply .Unfortunately,I can't play because of no reasons. So I went to service center to repair and check. They accepted it for 7 days, at last they replied me that they can't because of not buying from their showroom.I believe that it is not important for customer wherever I bought from ,...
Summary: I actually should have purchased the 5.1 receiver but I ended up going with the 7.1. My only complaint is that when I turn it to my blue ray player to automatically goes to "straight" mode and not surround sound.
Summary: I bought this unit to upgrade my home theater to HDMI sound. The setup with the microphone was quick and easy and created a well balanced sound field. I was pleased that as volume is increased upto 50% the decebel level correspondingly decreases causing less distortion. It improved the sound quality of my Polk Lsi series speakers with no humm in the bass and subwoofer. All around this was a great buy.
Summary: I purchased this receiver a few months back (3, possibly 4) for a bedroom setup. I absolutely love the set up I have in my living room, with a much more expensive receiver, but figured I'd try save a few bucks since it was just a bedroom. Turned out to be the wrong choice I never loved this receiver like my other. It doesn't have the same natural sound (though I did set it up with the exact same speakers).
Summary: This is a very good receiver. The sound is excellent when paired with good speakers and speaker wires. I am using the Energy 5.1 system. It looks great as well, which a black shine that goes with most entertainment system decors. The upscaling and pass-thru of video is top quality. My only complaint is that it starts running a bit hot while in use.
Summary: The Yamaha RX-v571 met my expectations and works great for my needs. Looks nice, unimposing, and has wonderful sound. I was able to bi-amp my front towers easily. And once I diagnosed the radio interference was coming from a bad subwoofer cable, the system is completely quiet of extraneous noise.
Summary: i love my receiver it upconvert to 1080p from any source and the sound quality is awsome, ipod integration is a nice touch from yamaha, thanks for that, my buying experience with amazon is perfect.
