Discounts Jungle.com lies and Amazon needs to do something about it!

Summary: This company lies. The Yamaha receiver was advertised as new on Amazon. I received it a couple of hours ago and opened the packet with the manual to read it. The manual had handwritten notes all over it and obviously had been used by another individual who made connection notes in the manual. Sam, of Discounts Jungle said someone in his warehouse had made the notations while packing the unit for shipping.
Summary: Updated Review: Fixed problem and am giving the product three stars. It's pretty good for three hundred bucks. I've had a few problems with the internal settings randomly changing by themselves but have learned to live with it. If I had to do it over again...I would have spent the extra few bucks on a Denon.
Summary: I recently had a Yamaha receiver, but was an old one with no HDMI hook ups nor did it have True HD and DTS HD. After purchasing this receiver without spending a fortune for a new one, this choice could not have been better. i actually expected less, but this receiver is awesome. I am a movie guy and watch movies regularly and the sound is just terrific. I would recommend this product to everyone.
Summary: I've owned this receiver for about 2 months now and couldn't be happier with it. The features are great for the price!! Definitely get the most bang for your buck. 1 HDMI out cable for all (analog and digital inputs) makes for a nice, clean look to any home theater with the analog video upscaling. Major selling point for me. Excellent sound quality. My only complaints are that there are banana plug connections for ONLY the front speakers.
Summary: There were two things that convinced me get this model (besides it is Yamaha): HDMI upscaling and self-calibration. The calibration feature works awesome. The unit actually told me that the polarity of one of the rear speakers was incorrect. If you are unsatisfied, there are plenty adjustments that can be done manually too. Sound quality is absolutely fine and I never had any "insufficient power" issues in my 14'x30'+x10' living room.
Summary: This receiver is everything you want for a reasonable price. Set-up was easy and auto speaker set-up function worked great. The item was delivered earlier than estimated in perfect condition from Amazon. I highly recommend this receiver for all looking for quality at a reasonable price. Yamaha did not skimp on this model.
Summary: Bought this model(RX-V 565) to replace my Yamaha RX-V 465). I dropped my 465 and damaged the front panel area. My Yamaha dealer, after looking at the damage said it would be cheaper and faster just to replace it, I agreed and bought this one.I had issues with my old one and I now know why- update issue and not using the remote to set it up properly. With my new one it is up to date on firmware and I took the time to read the owners manual and use the remote.I found several...
Great receiver but get the firmware if you use for HTPC

Summary: This is a fantastic receiver for the price. It has just about every decoder that you could need, and plenty of HDMI inputs (4 of them). Great sound quality on this matched up with my Polk TSi100s and TSI C10 center, as well as the Polk R150 for the surrounds. The only feature it does not have which it could use is multi-channel audio inputs. You will need to go up to the RX-V665 for that.
