hdmi solve

WILLIAM W., Newegg
10 January 2015
  • Pros: if your hdmi output seems to have died, try this, power off push and hold the straight button on the reciever (not the remote) turn the unit on whilst holding straight button use the program left and right keyus to move the screen over till it says Init cancle, press straight will that says init ...
  • Cons: the issue was that the system could not complete a full hdmi dchp handshake or something, that some part of the setup the source / reciver / or screen thought that what it was playing was copyright protected or some such, so the receiver cut video.

Great all around receiver

Techguy, Amazon
7 October 2014
  • Summary: Great all around receiver! I won't rehash all the positives others have explained well. However, I did want to point out a deficiency in the Pandora implementation, as that feature is one of the key reasons I moved up to the 475.

No Complaints

Bruce R., Newegg
22 July 2014
  • Pros: Great product, more than I will likely ever use. Have yet to hook up HDMI TV, but once I do watch out. As it is, works great with my old analog set. Just had to do a couple of work a round's.
  • Cons: None

This is a very good sounding A/V receiver

Michael Groninga, Amazon
9 July 2014
  • Summary: This is a very good sounding A/V receiver. Everything sounds very clear. Controller is a bit complex but after a while you will learn. Beware if ordering from Amazon Warehouse since there was no YPAO mic in the 'Like New' order.

Very good unit for the money!

Mike Rumbaugh, Amazon
19 June 2014
  • Summary: Just installed. Everything seems just fine. Love the settings and simplicity. Do not like having to learn details from a CD. Wish they would put in a written manual . Small detail all and all. The physical size could be smaller, but again it is not that big an issue.

Sounds Great Odd tv Display

VFRAV8R "James", Amazon
21 March 2014
  • Summary: It's a modern receiver, it links to an iPhone easily for music, the 5.1 matches my speakers,4k ready and plenty of HDMI ports. Here is the funny part the display on your tv, for the internet radio and your music looks like a 1984 Atari screen. And the remote has more buttons than the space shuttle.
