Summary: This product was affordable and is easy to operate. I use it in a remodeled bar area in my basement. I have 2 in-ceilings, a center channel and a sub hooked up to it and it does the job just fine. If your not looking for a who bunch of bells and whistles, this unit is the way to go. I use mostly for music listening and watching Football games, when in season. I would recommend this product.
Summary: This unit puts out very good sound, especially in a smaller room. I still need a subwoofer for it to really grab its full potential. It took a little while to master all the different adjustments, but I have it down now. I also love that it still has lots of analog connectors (RCA) on the back so that I can connect all the old equipment I'm still running. Looks good, too.
Summary: Decent entry level 5.1 receiver. Looks complicated but easy to set up. Powering Polk RT15s front & rear, Polk CS245 center, & dual Yamaha YST-SW215 subs in a 16x12 room. Pros: 1. Easy set-up with the YPAO system, although you may have to tweak the settings. 2. Difference sound stages & effects to complement source recording & room. 3. Decent volume level assuming efficient speakers. You're not going to drive difficult loads however. 4.
Summary: This is the most amazing receiver I have ever owned. When I first turned it on to do the set up it actually gave a report about the wiring and whether they were in the correct phase! It is very easy to operate and is VERY adaptable... I totally recommend this unit!!
Summary: It came quickly and works great. I recommend this product and this company. The sound is nice and powerful. I tested it out playing Battlefield 3 and it felt like I was on the actual battlefield.
Summary: We are very pleased with this product. The sound is great. It is simple to setup and use. The only thing I wasn't as thrilled with was the fact that there was no instruction book but a CD instead. We moved into a house with built-in speakers, and the sound is awesome!
Summary: This Receiver is just plain great. I am in awe of the power and quality it possesses and it delivers it with ease. I opted to use it with a set of Boston Acoustics 5.1 surround speakers. it is incredible, the clarity and shear rumble it can produce. Ity reminds me of the days when one could go to a large theater and watch a movie in THX and when the battle scene would start you could literally Feel it in your chest.
Summary: After being a stereohead for a long time but recently purchasing a subwoofer I decided to upgrade to 5.1. I was originally going to buy the Onkyo 309 or 509 but after the price went up I decided to delve into the amazon pages and find something else that fit what I wanted. Let me also say that I have tried out a 5.1 HTiB before and it sounded like garbage. It had 1000 Watts and little incy wincy speakers that sounded like tweeters.
