Summary: I purchased this to use as a substitute for an Onkyo HT-RC180 (sent for HDMI repair) in my mancave. I push a 7.2 system with PSB towers, midrange and rear surrounds. I have added two 10 inch powered subs and small wide left and rights.

Summary: I purchased this receiver in November of 2012, and it has seen a great deal of use since then. The sound is great running through my Bose 5.1 surround system, and I love the various features upon which many users have already commented.
Summary: Well I took a chance on this refurb receiver and came up aces all around. Got this amp to build a 5.1 surround sound system for audio and home theatre system. Have had for about a year now and it has worked perfectly. It has many settings and variable concert sound modes.
Summary: This is our third Yamaha receiver. We've had the first one for over 8 years and it continues to work flawlessly, it just didn't fit our new stereo cabinet. This new unit was simple to connect (we're all Hdmi now) and simpler to control, even though it has more features than our old one.
Summary: Yamaha makes great products. I purchased one of the refurbished products and the extended warranty through Amazon. The product seems to be in perfect condition. Easy hook up and user friendly. Has a USB port right on the front which allows easy hook up for iPod/iPhones and generates great sound.
Summary: First I am never one to buy something refurbished. I almost always spend more to get a new product, however after I read the reviews that most people had good experience with Yamaha refurbished I gave it a try. The product came with no blemishes that I could find.
