Summary: I really wanted to love this Yamaha RX-V371. I had researched for several months and read many reviews of this product and had finally decided this was the one for me. I was replacing an older Onkyo that I loved but did not have any HDMI inputs.

Cons: Cheap (quality) Receiver has problems finding HDMI signal from Panasonic Blu-ray player. Red HDMI indicator on receiver blinks and intermittently sound comes out for just a split second. Summary: As much as I wanted to love it, it was a pretty lackluster unit. It failed within a month and wouldn't output to the front left channel, and now I've got to ship it to a service center for repair, when I used it 3 times. Now I've got to pay for that, too.
