  • Summary: This was a great price, Was shipped early, was shipped in great packaging, This is a powerful unit for the 180$ that I spent. The only bad thing, I can operate it with my comcast cable remote.... That sucks! But, overall, and great buy for us!

A real bargain, but with one major flaw.

Amazon

  • Summary: I just bough this Yamaha unit to replace an old Sony AV receiver and I feel very happy with the purchase so far. In general the price-quality ratio of this receiver is excellent, but has a, EMHO, a big con: the Yamaha RX-V367 don't have a dedicated rear electric plug to power the active subwoofer...

good bang for the buck

Andres A., Newegg
18 April 2011
  • Summary: I wish this had a microphone and automatic speaker configuration like my older, non-HDMI Pioneer receiver. But this was half the price.
  • Pros: 4 HDMI inputs, 4 "scene" buttons that act as shortcuts for audio/video/dsp settings, shallower than other receivers I've owned, can balance audio levels across different inputs
  • Cons: spring clips for center and surround speakers, no switched power outlet

Not bad for less then 200

Eamon, Amazon
9 April 2011
  • Summary: Pros: Very good Pro logic and surround sound capabilities for an item that is less then say Onkyo or sony. And under 200$ It's a decent replacement for any receiver w/o HDMI. Good Crossover function and handles the low end Fq really well even on different ohm settings.

Excellent Receiver for price

Roger S. Bothwell, Amazon
19 March 2011
  • Summary: I ordered this to replace a 10 yr old Nakamichi receiver as it did not have HDMI inputs or throughputs nor did it have optical sound inputs. The Yamaha was easy to set up, has all the features that I need and puts out excellent sound
