Summary: This is a replacement unit for an older, similar Yamaha receiver. The old one was running just fine after more than 10 years of HARD service, I simply wanted to upgrade to a unit with hdmi inputs/outputs. I have to say that I'm completely disappointed with this unit as all of the hdmi switching has failed on it. Because of the EXCELLENT service I received from my old one, I expected nothing less from this one. While it was working, it was great (thus the 2 stars).
Summary: Bought this receiver as a gift. Not quite the "gift" I had hoped for. I was told that installation and the instruction manual were difficult and of poor quality. The subwoofer does not fit into the slot on the back of the receiver. The receiver and Samsung Smart TV do not communicate well. The back speakers of the surround sound system do not produce sound when in television mode. However, the back speakers do work when playing cd's. More trouble than it's worth.
Summary: Had 367 installed for about a year as stereo 2-speaker setup. Then attempted to add a center speaker (decor prevented subwoofer upgrade). The center speaker circuit was dead, and no test tone. Still under warranty but retailer unable to fix, return, or duplicate the unit. I had to settle for store credit. Later found identical item on Amazon.
Summary: After submitting the order for this model, the buyer I completed the transaction with told me days later they don't have this model anymore and sent the v371 instead. I have had issues with the new one not being able to feed picture to my television.
Summary: This receiver will not connect to my Panasonic VCR. After many attempts, I read under the "troubleshooting" section that the receiver will not work with all equipment! Talk about the fine print.
Summary: I ordered this amplifier essentially to be an HDTV switch. I have HDMI outputs from my Playstation3, my Dell PC, and my HD Tivo, but only one HDMI input on my TV. Well, I guess you could say that technically it worked -- but the video quality was HORRIBLE. Technically it was still passing through a 1080p signal, but there was a very noticeable degradation of video quality when running the HDMI signal through the amp vs. connecting directly to the TV.

FAIL!
