As expected

142percent, Ebay
7 September 2011
  • Summary: This reciever seems to work just fine. I haven't had it too long to play with it too much but it seems to have multiple sound settings and works great with my 5.1 Surround Sound Yamaha system.

Great entry-level receiver

Shannon Konyndyk "SCKgrl", Amazon
28 September 2010
  • Summary: The first one I received (RX-V365BL) didn't power on when I plugged it in, but after returning it and getting a good one (RX-V367), I love it. It was easy to set up, has tons of great presets, and pumps plenty of power to shake my house. I paired it with a Yamaha set of 5 speakers and a sub woofer, and the sound is clear as well as full.

very low end item with very poor sound quality

garner382, Ebay
3 September 2010
  • Summary: This is low end YAMAHA receiver, the sound quality and receiver quality is really very poor. If you take it seriously, I would suggest do not buy this model. It is really a failure product of YAMAHA, I believe that is the reason why they have so many B STOCK(refurbished) of this item.

Amazing Sound Quality, Easy Setup, Great Sound Options!

Vbone, Amazon
1 September 2010
  • Summary: The picture isn't actually the item itself but that does not matter. The RX-V367 will blow minds away. Easy setup. Optical inputs and outputs. Have these setup to Klipsch WB-14 Icon Speakers and JBL Subwoofer (180 watts). Sounds like I am in the nosebleed section. You are at a concert volume all the way up.

Awesome reciever for the price!!

Luly Massaro "Brandon.", Amazon
26 July 2010
  • Summary: Im not Luly thats my mom but im 15 and an audiophile. My setup: i got this reciever hooked to my Klipsch KG 4.2 floorstanding speakers. And my dad has the same receiver hooked up to his bose acoustimass 5 system. This receiver is awesome. Volume gets very loud without distortion which is good. I like the fact that it has a music enhancer and even works while the radio is on, it makes the radio sound so much better and clearer and you dont hear that "sshhh" noise anymore.

Great for office use

LoveTheCoast, Amazon
15 July 2010
  • Summary: I use this to play music through my computer in my office. Yes, it's much more than a typical computer setup, but I'm tired of buying expensive computer speaker setups that perform poorly and break after a year. This is matched to a couple of decent speakers and a small sub and the sound is excellent!

Yamaha RX V365 5.1 channel 500 Watt Receiver

mrrod65, Ebay
4 June 2010
  • Summary: I did like the receiver, i'm a huge fan of Yamaha electronics..but the item sometimes want to do his own thing, for example, sometimes when it comes on, one of my surround speakers will not make a sound and then i run the test and still no sound, so i then shut the system down and then the sound will come back. It does that frequently.. it's starting to get annoying..well for the price what can you expect.

Yamaha RX 365BL

J. Zurek, Amazon
31 May 2010
  • Summary: It seems like a nice unit. I am still learning how to use it. I have a passive sub. witch seems to be making the sound from DVD playback kind of muted and soft, or its my dvr doing it. Other components sound very good.
