Very good receiver

lbernal52, Ebay
13 October 2011
  • Summary: This is an excellent receiver - it has multiple input features and TNTC sound quality adjustments that makes listening to anything a very tailored experience. I use it primarily to listen to my iPod, but I could route my entire home entertainment system through it if I had enough HDMI cables. Very nice. I recommend it to anyone.

28 January 2009
  • Summary: I bought this receiver to replace one lost in a house fire. A little more reciever then I need at the moment but should pay dividends when we move back in and I set up surround sound. As far as controls and set up. Only connected speakers and DVD for the moment, so Set up was no problem.
  • Pros: Accurate Controls, Clean Sound, Good Power
  • Cons: NOT Intuitive

  • Summary: I bought this to hook up 2 speakers, my TV, game consoles and computer. It has so far been very amusing in terms of all of the connections I can accomplish. It's easy to use, the controls and features are directly stated and are easy to understand. IT IS iPOD AND BLUETOOTH Audio compatible which is awesome.
  • Pros: Accurate Controls, Clean Sound, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Good Power

Many options, but lacks tone controls

GregS, J&R
29 October 2008
  • Summary: This receiver has a lot of options for price. They are focused in on the entry level home theater and in this regard this receiver is a good buy. I wanted it for a music room (2.1 channels) and was disappointed by the lack of tone controls for the internal EQ (only the center channel can be controlled, which I don't have.) In general, they over simplify the setup and tuning.
  • Pros: Good Power
  • Cons: Limited Functions
