Summary: This is a good receiver that will do much more than almost anyone will ever need. It sounds good but not as good as my older Denon 4802. It is very complex and more difficult to set up than any other receiver I have owned. The automatic YAO set-up feature is nice but kept insisting that my 2 front and center channel speakers were set up with reverse polarity.
Excerpt: This is our first home cinema set up. I am using Yamaha RX-V2700 with B&W MT - 30 speakers. This amplifier is great and sounds better than a cinema. Cost : £1000 . We use it for multiple home entertainment for eg : CDplayer , Sky HD, Blue ray, Ipod, and PC. ADvantages: - 3 HDMI in and 1 out.
