Awesome receiver with power to spare, sounds great can't go wrong here

Summary: This is a great receiver for those who don't care about networking features or 3D. it's the last of the yamaha orange face and still has the two digital outputs and switched outlets which the new models are missing, i also own the rx-a 3020 which is missing those options and has less analog outputs. as for sound quality there's very little difference in the two. this has plenty of clean power.
Summary: Yamaha makes the best receiver for the money! I already have an RX-V27000 that I use for 3 room/3source up stares an it has performed flawlessly for the last 5 years. When I saw the price for the I jumped on it. Plenty of power and you can play it loud and wont overheat. This unit will also do 2 room/2 source. You wont beat it for the money!
Summary: just like to say,got this at christmas as part of making a home theater for my family.combined with tivo premier and polk surround sound in wall speakers and sony tv and blu ray,OUTSTANDING!!sound is excellent, fairly easy to use once you get used to it.well worth what i paid, considering now its about double what i paid for it in dec 2010.subwoofer hooked up it all feels like you are right in the action!
Summary: I have, for a long time, wanted a reciever as capabale as this unit. Not only do I get to hook up all of my equipment, I now can listen to vinyl. Phono is what was, but quite a few of us still have a large collection of records. And, along with multitude of connections, it is a system to build upon. Did I mention HD/FM, "REAL COOL".
Summary: What a sound! This AV delivers you a great performance, whith a powerfull presence. I dont care about 3D and video upcale, im concerned about the sound, and for that i totally recomend this unit.
Summary: I bought this receiver to replace a Pioneer receiver that lasted one week after the warranty expired. I found this on sale for a very good price. It is a more high end receiver than the Pioneer it replaced. It has features I really wanted that I didn't think I could afford when I bought the Pioneer last year. Overall it sounds very good, is easy to setup and I'm very happy with it so far.
Summary: This is one receiver I plan on keeping for a long time. I've been trying several receivers over the past 3-4 years and I feel as if I finally found one that does pretty much everything I want & does it very well! The positives are great sound & power, plenty of inputs for HDMI, fantastic upscaling to 1080p for my Tivo which is 1080i, plenty of sound modes, the list goes on.
Summary: I could not be happier with this unit. It is spectacular! Numerous inputs, HDMI that works without hassles, HD up-converting so I don't have to pay for HD TV, and it even calibrates itself using the included microphone. This receiver is at the high-end of the mid-range of receivers. There are cheaper units out there (that aren't nearly as good), and there are better units out there (that cost several times more). But for the money it is very difficult to beat this unit.
