Summary: Yamaha makes the best receiver for the money! I already have an RX-V27000 that I use for 3 room/3source up stares an it has performed flawlessly for the last 5 years. When I saw the price for the I jumped on it. Plenty of power and you can play it loud and wont overheat.
Summary: I have, for a long time, wanted a reciever as capabale as this unit. Not only do I get to hook up all of my equipment, I now can listen to vinyl. Phono is what was, but quite a few of us still have a large collection of records. And, along with multitude of connections, it is a system to build upon.
Summary: What a sound! This AV delivers you a great performance, whith a powerfull presence. I dont care about 3D and video upcale, im concerned about the sound, and for that i totally recomend this unit.
Summary: This reciever looks sharp, is weighty and has a tremendous feel of quality, and is just a great reciever all around. Plus I got it for a great price. It pairs nicely with my Infinity Classia surround system I bought off Amazon as well
Summary: I bought this receiver to replace a Pioneer receiver that lasted one week after the warranty expired. I found this on sale for a very good price. It is a more high end receiver than the Pioneer it replaced.
Summary: I'm very pleased with the Yamaha RX-1900 receiver. I've put it thru many tests and tried all kinds of equipment with it. I have had no problems at all. I can highly recommend this receiver to anyone.
Pros: This receiver really does everything right. Setup is easy but very detailed. Pro on screen volume. Even with composite hook ups. A lot of receivers I looked at didn't have this. The FM radio with HD Radio is really good. I can pickup almost every station in my area. The audio is really nice on th...
Cons: The setup menu could have been made nicer looking. Has the old black back ground look. Although it very complete and fairly easy to use. The remote could have been made better. It does pretty much everything I need it to do. But it seems dated. Setting up FM radio presets could have been made eas...
Summary: I've been researching for the last couple months wanting to upgrade from my Marantz 5002 and it came down to the Denon AVR3310ci and this. Both were being discontinued and just about half price so I bought both figuring I'd sell the one I don't want to keep to a customer.
Pros: User friendly, lots of power, uncolored, clean and neutral sound.
Cons: Runs a little hot but I guess that's what you get with 130 watts x 7.
Summary: Buy this for it's sound quality and not it's video features. If you already have good video sources this unit works as a great HDMI switcher. The remote could be better. I give this 5 eggs because the sound quality makes up for the lack of better video technology.
Pros: Take a risk. This model has some reports of people getting bad units... but if you manage to get a good one, you will be amazed. I was trying to decide between this and this models replacement but at this price the few extra features and the nicer OSD isn't worth more than double the price. Sound...
Cons: Video scaler isn't so great with HDMI sources. (i.e. Cable box.) You are better letting the TV do it. The new model has HQV which is insanely better.
