Summary: very good condition for a b-stock receiver. one slight scuff on the display is barely a bother as u have to really probe to find it. bottom line, the box blows, k. chrystal clear sound with a very nice gui. it really puts out!! the cec / hdmi ports work well with one annoying exception. i have a directv h21 box and that box is not sensed. i'm convinced the problem is with the directv receiver. it gets worse. there are not many things to dislike.
Summary: Does everything it should well but receive off-air signals. I read the reviews too, so I was aware of this problem. Since I have a Satelite(XM)receiver hooked to it, I bought it anyway, due to the price. Off-air reception is as reported. Everything else works perfectly and is simple to set up. Price was $400 lower than at Best Buy.
7.1+.1 or 9.1+.1 but not 7.2, built in IR repeater!, let me explain

Summary: I am very pleased with this purchase but the description as a 7.2 is wrong. This is a 7.1 with two separate sub outputs but the outputs are not separately controlled just a single split signal so technically this is only 7.1 with a built in split to two RCA connections. I guess we can call it 7.1+.1, this is not a big deal, I am using both sub outs and I still have control on each sub at each sub so the result is the same.
Summary: I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the WEAK built in tuner. I replaced a Yamaha HTR-5063 which is a much lower end model, and even though it was lower end the built in FM tuner was SUPERIOR compared to the RX-V1065BL. On the flip side this does have HD radio which my previous model didn't. The sound is amazing when you can get reception. Just don't move or stand near the unit or the tuner will cut out...
Summary: this is a awsome receiver it will do almost enything u can think of im vary vary vary happy the only thing I can find if i had to find something wrong with it would be when u go from one thing to another the sub will make a bump every time u do something and there is no fix
Summary: I'll first start by saying that I got this receiver as a gold box deal for $277, so my impression of its value in comparison to other receivers may be a bit skewed. That being said, this receiver offers beautiful sound quality with great video upconversion, and is incredibly easy to use. The YPAO setup worked without a hitch, and the quality of surround-sound I get from it is truly excellent.
Summary: I like the receiver the sound is good easy to use but the only thing that i did not care for is that the antena does not pick up the signal very well. other than that it is very good receiver.
Summary: I bought this unit because I love my Yamaha receiver that I've owned for the past 10+ years but needed to upgrade to take advantage of the new sound formats with BluRay. There was no problem connecting everything to it. The sound on BluRay, DVR & DVD is fantastic! It does the job and does it wonderfully! The only complaint is with the tuner. It only picks up 2 radio stations and one of them is HD. I don't understand why it is so poor at getting any other signal.
