  • Summary: The old fashion way in setting speakers, sub woofers are in the dark age. This amp does it for you and the sound is incredible. !st time owner a Yamaha and it will not be the last. Yamaha has come along ways and I recommend this RX-V1065 7.1 surround receiver to the people who want to listen to quality sound and an easy set up.

A Receiver That Does Not "Receive"

Rex R. Vaughn, Amazon
21 March 2010
  • Summary: This otherwise fine unit has a fatal design flaw with the performance of the FM radio receiver. Even with very strong local FM stations, the receiver can't hold on to the signal for more than a few seconds. Tune to a station, wait several seconds, signal acquired, then in a few seconds the signal drops, no sound for several seconds, gets it back for a few seconds, cycle repeats.
