Summary: Great 7.1 Surround Sound system. If you are looking for a great surround sound experience get the newer RX-A. I purchased this unit because Yamaha was known for durability. My system's pre-amp failed after only 4 years.
Summary: Great reciever. Love the sound and the up converting. The USB in the front has been very helpful. Yamaha builds quality in thier units. This is the third Yamaha unit I have owned. They are always ready and willing when you need them to perform.
Summary: This Yamaha RX-V1065 has outperformed every stereo home theater and radio that I have ever owned. And I have had many receivers in my time. I have never been able to go out and spend big bucks on audio equipment before.
Summary: I have always been a Yamaha fan however this is the WORST receiver when it comes for pulling in FM local stations. As far as the performance on HDTV XBOX PS3 its good but the pass through feature does not work with my Motorola cable box.
Summary: very good condition for a b-stock receiver. one slight scuff on the display is barely a bother as u have to really probe to find it. bottom line, the box blows, k. chrystal clear sound with a very nice gui. it really puts out!! the cec / hdmi ports work well with one annoying exception.
Summary: I paid for it $380, which was really a good deal. I had a DENON entry level receiver, which was replaced by this one. The difference is big, in music and movies. Very good product, good connectivity.
Summary: I was really pleased with this for the first six months I had it. Now I cannot watch My HDMI inputs the receiver will play for 20 seconds to a minute and then shuts itself off. After that point every time you turn it on it shuts itself off.
