Good receiver, broke in 8 months, terrible customer support

Summary: Receiver had failure of left front speaker relay; that channel will drop off itself. Called Yamaha, they said I have to take it to their service center (60 miles away) or pay the shipping out of my pocket to get it fixed! The service center only works M-F 9 to 5.
Summary: I'm fairly selective and typically spend a lot of time researching before I purchase something. My decision to purchase the Yamaha RX-A3010 was no different. This Yamaha beat out Onkyo and Denon based on my criteria, and I was pretty excited about setting it all up. That's when the trouble started.
