Summary: Nice power and sound from this receiver. It is easy to set up and the 2 hdmi inputs are a nice plus. The sound is crisp and powerfull with very little ditortion. It does tend to get a little warm/hot when used at high volumes for a long time. Just make sure you jave adequate ventalation around/on top of it and it should be fine.
Summary: O.k. had this for about a week now. I don't consider myself to be all that tech savvy so I had kind of a hard time at first. I dont intend to ever use all the fancy features this amp has like all the fancy dvd scene selection feature it has or whatever. I havent recived my Bluray player or my hdmi cable yet but when I do I plan on using the hdmi output to run all my video sources and stuff thru the amp.
Summary: ... to fall far short of where this unit could be. There just seems to be a lack of real world user input that would have made a big difference. Some of this was not described clearly in the sales information. 1. when playing back a high resolution bitstream from pc to receiver via coax cable all audio effects are disabled. This is buried in the manual. 2. The hdmi signals do not get passed thru to the tv when the receiver is turned off.
Summary: As of yet have I figured out all of the features of this system. A little more complicated than I would like but I am sure I will figure it out when I have the time. Once it is set up, it gets a lot easier. A really groovy feature would be the automatic setup of the speakers. Using a microphone(included) and camera stand, it will automatically set the distance, identify what kind of speakers you are using and adjusts the volume for each speaker making it sound fantastic.

Summary: I read all the reviews and the most prominent issue was the complicated manual.I will have to agree 100%...whoever pieced it together must have been on crack. It had me looking at multiple pages at once...(while reading page 5..it tells me I have to also see page 16...which has a related issue on page 63 that I must know before doing whats on page 5 and 16) you get the point..and the whole manual is that way. Thats the one major negative of this receiver..
Summary: I really have not found any thing I dont like about it. I had a Yamaha Receiver and love it I wanted to move up to a new one that's does more and the sound was great.I did not think it would sound that much better than my last Yamaha they are the way to go.
